Hi! I am Faraaz Ahmad Permadi, a graduate of Institut Teknologi Nasional (ITENAS) Bandung, class of 2022, with cum laude honors.
From a young age, I’ve been fascinated by computers and technology. My journey began with a Pentium D820 computer in 2006, which sparked my interest in informatics. Since then, I’ve pursued my passion relentlessly, culminating in a degree in informatics from ITENAS.
Professional Experience
I have extensive experience in various fields, particularly in Augmented Reality (AR) and full-stack development. My expertise in AR includes:
- Meta Spark Studio: Creating Instagram filters
- Lens Studio: Developing Snapchat filters
- Effect House Studio: Crafting TikTok effects
- WebAR: Implementing AR experiences on smartphone browsers and head-mounted devices like Oculus Quest and Apple Vision Pro
As a full-stack developer, I am proficient in several programming languages and frameworks, including:
- PHP: Experience with Laravel, CodeIgniter, and native PHP
- Python: Skilled in Flask and IoT applications with Raspberry Pi
- NodeJS: Knowledgeable in ExpressJS and Socket.IO
- IoT: Hands-on experience with Raspberry Pi, Arduino, and NodeMCU
Achievements
- Junior AR Developer: With 4 years of experience, I have worked on hundreds of local and international brand projects, earning my first 100 million Rupiah at the age of 20.
- Freelancer: Over the past 6 years, I have completed various personal, public, and college projects as a full-stack developer.
Future Interests
Now, I’m eager to delve into Virtual Reality (VR) and Mixed Reality (MR), convinced that these technologies will play a crucial role in future marketing and education strategies. I believe VR and MR have immense potential beyond gaming, offering innovative solutions for marketing and educational mediums.
